So the second week is complete and I hit some goals and missed some others but I'm starting to get into a routine which is nice.

I finished off another non-fiction book "You can just do things" by Cate Hall. It had a few points I needed to hear especially around embarrassment stopping you from trying things. I've long though I need more of an online presence to help my businesses and have wanted to do youtube videos, etc for ages but a fear of looking silly has always stopped me. As part of this blog I have a challenge to break out of that but I'm still failing. The book gave me a few ideas for dealing with it.

Financially on track. I did end up adding back in 1 subscription. YNAB. I had created my own financial tracker and stopped using it but I struggled with consistency on the new tracker where I kept on top of things with YNAB so it is very worth the $25 a month.

This week ahead I'm trying to finish up some uni work, get a new system live at Yellow Cake, and finish up the next revision of the Dispatcher design. Once these two things are done the level of urgent work in my queue falls off a cliff and I think it will be a lot easier to start working my habits back in.

My focus for the week ahead will be on snacking. I've gotten back into the habit of snacking and it's not cheap! $5 for a bag of chips adds up on the grocery bill quickly. I have 2 large bags I bought on sale yesterday so my goal is to stretch them out over increasing periods of time between them to see if I can make them last 2 weeks. By the end of that hopefully I'm out of the habit.

I've also fully blocked reddit for a month. I was doing really well not checking it but this past week have fallen back into the habit.
